On December 20, 2021 a beloved Dad, Husband, Son, Brother and friend returned to our Father in heaven. Justin Drew Steele, who often went by Drew, will be greatly missed.
Drew was born to his parents (Delray Steele & Anne Bates) in Payson UT on July 29, 1987. As a child, Drew was tender-hearted and calm. Growing up with his two siblings, he was the beloved younger brother of (Tyrel Steele) and an admired big brother by his younger sister, (Jessica Steele Butterfield). In his youth, Drew enjoyed spending time with his family hunting, camping, trapping and fishing. . Drew was instilled with a love for the outdoors that would follow him throughout his life, he spent many weekends with his Dad and brother in southern Utah checking trap lines and enjoyed days spent fishing. Drew loved riding four wheelers out on the sand dunes with his brother and cousin (Jake Steele).
At the age of sixteen, Drew met the love of his life Heather Christensen. Once they found each other there weren’t many days that Drew and Heather spent apart. Growing up together they found joy in becoming a family by introducing two children into the world, (Tristian and Justine Steele). Drew and Heather were companions from the moment they met but they officially became husband and wife on May 28, 2011. As a family they enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting. While they enjoyed those hobbies together, what was most important to them was spending quality time together. Whether it was on the couch watching t.v. or sitting around having a BBQ with family, Drew was the type of person who liked to laugh and have a good time. He had an infectious smile and a goofy personality that made him friends with everyone he met.
Drew worked at Goodfellow Corporation in Lindon, Ut where he made many good friends. He enjoyed his occupation and the opportunity he had to provide a good life for his wife and children. Drew loved to spend time with his kids. In recent years, Drew took up the hobby of building a mud truck with his brother and cousin. Tristian enjoyed being with his dad as he pursued this hobby and making memories with those closest to him. Drew loved to take his son Tristian fishing and hunting, teaching him all of the skills he had learned in his life. Justine has been a Daddy’s girl since the day she was born and loved to spend time with her Dad.
As family and friends of Justin Drew Steele, our hearts are heavy with his loss. However, we wish for others to know how much he was loved. He was truly a kind and good person. He was very much loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
