Don Patten

Don Edwin Patten, 75, passed away April 20, 2007 in Provo, Utah. He was born March 1, 1932 in Payson, Utah to George Edwin and Hazel Bingham Patten. He married Kathryn Olson September 11, 1952 in the Manti LDS Temple. Don was an active member of the LDS church serving in many callings. With his wife he served in the Los Angeles Temple, in the Dallas Temple Mission, and in the Provo Temple. He was a master tinkerer and could fix anything. He enjoyed fishing, reading and sports. Most important to him was his family and he supported them in any activity they were involved in. Don is survived by his wife of 54 years; his children, Cynthia Patten, Kelly and Paulette Patten, Coreen and Kelly Anderson, and Kasey Patten; 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Buys, a brother, Kenneth, and his twin brother, Duane. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 24th at 12:00 noon in the Santaquin 3rd Ward, 45 South 500 West. Friends may call at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Monday 6:30 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
