Daniel Earl Maples, our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, left this world on April 9, 2016 surrounded by his loving family to join his daughter, Shantell, mother, grandmother and father-in-law. He was born September 9, 1944 in Payson, Utah to Lloyd Byron and Violet Fay Waine Maples. He married Nancy Jane Corbett June 27, 1971.
Dan drove truck for 40 years and was known for being a hard-working man who always put his family’s needs first. Taking care of his family always came before himself. He was a great teacher. Dan loved to hunt, fish, camp and go to Lake Powell. Above all, Dan loved spending time with his family!
He is survived by the love of his life, Nancy; children, Justin Maples of Goshen, Danielle (Carlin) Kelau of Spanish Fork; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
The family would like to thank hospice, Carma and Doug for taking such great care of our beloved father.
