Listen to a recording of the service:

Corey Troy Ewell, 37, was born May 14, 1979 in Juarez, Mexico.  His parents Arlin Reed and Annie Ruth Banks Ewell were eager to meet their baby boy and brought him to his forever home when he was just days old.  Corey was a fun-loving child who loved everyone and shared his smile with anyone who came his way.  Corey grew up in Genola, Utah and attended Goshen Elementary School and later finished his high school education at Payson High School in 1998.  He worked many years in the service industry and most recently was working and serving the homeless as an employee of the Road Home in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Corey passed away December 26, 2016 at his home, peacefully, in his sleep after spending Christmas evening with his mother.

Corey had a deep love of food. He loved making goodies and sharing a sucker, a cookie, or a meal with anyone who would eat with him.  He loved hanging out with his nieces and nephews and spent hours entertaining them with puzzles, outside adventures, and his homemade haunted houses.  He loved music, hiking all over Goblin Valley, and he loved his side job of washing windows. He loved making origami and shared his talent with many.  Corey however, is known for his love of everything Nintendo.

Corey is survived by his parents, Arlin and Annie Ewell; his siblings, Reed (Linda) Ewell of Draper, UT, Randy (Gay) Ewell of Ely, NV, Kurt (Rebecca) Ewell of Taylorsville, UT, Allen (Sherrie) Ewell of Payson UT, Mary Ann (Spencer) Olsen of Sandy, UT; Marilyn (Gregg) Hiatt of Payson, UT, Merlene Ewell of Garland, UT, Malessa Ewell, Bruce (Regina) Ewell of Mountain Home, ID, Melanie (Mason) Francom of Murray, UT, Gina Reyes of Provo, UT, Keauna (Deon) Fesolai of Magna, UT, Shaylauna (Jimmy) Miller of Lehi, UT.
