Alice Colleen Garbett Taylor, 66, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2010 in Nephi, Utah. She was born December 19, 1943 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Thomas and Clara Snell Garbett. She married Kenneth Lee Taylor June 30, 1962.
Colleen worked for the Tintic School District for many years. She was a member of the LDS Church, a member of the DUP, Eureka Firefighters Auxiliary and past member of the Miner's Union. She liked to go looking for arrowheads, hunting and fishing with her family.
She is survived by her children, Stacy (Bart) Wall, Tooele, Jody (Jeril) Carlson, Patricia (Kyle) Bigler, Teri (Dan) Underwood, all of Eureka; 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; a sister, Gloria Wilson; brothers, Max (Leah) Garbett, Jack (Gerry) Garbett,, Allen (Irene) Garbett, and Richard (Judy) Garbett. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth, 3 grandchildren, a sister, Lucille Garbett, and a brother, Bill Garbett.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 13th at 11:00 am at the Eureka LDS Church. A viewing will be held Thursday from 6 to 8 pm at the Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, and Friday at the church one hour prior to services. Burial, Eureka Cemetery.
