Carole Smith Brailsford, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend passed away from her earthly life on Friday November 12, 2021 to continue on to her next journey.

Carole was born on October 31, 1966 in Spanish Fork Utah to Harold and Marion Smith. She was the youngest of five children. She grew up in Springville. She attended schools in Springville and graduated in 1984.

One night while at a young singles adult dance Carole noticed a handsome young man sleeping in a chair. She woke him up and asked him to dance and the rest was history! Love at first sight! Rick and Carole were married in the Salt Lake City Temple on May 18, 1985. They shared 36 wonderful years together.

Some of Carole’s favorite things to do were Shopping online for the grandkids, taking them swimming and cross stitching. She also loved to travel. She has been to Hawaii several times to visit her son and his wife and would often dance and just be the crazy fun person she was. Her most favorite trip was traveling to Tokyo Japan to pick up her son from his mission. She fell in love with the culture and people there.

Carole was a HUGE fan of Christmas. She would start buying presents for her two grandchildren in July and even do twelve days of Christmas for them. She loved to spoil them on such a fun holiday.

Carole always made sure her family was happy. She talked to each of her children every day. There are countless texts that she has sent, and countless phone calls that will be very much missed.
