Carol Olsen

Carol Olsen was born May 29,1953 and passed peacefully in her home in Orem, Utah on July 23, 2020 at 9:20 pm after battling cancer for the past 3+ years.

Carol attended Provo High School. She married Carl Olsen August 25,1977 in Elko, Nevada. Carol enjoyed fishing and camping with her husband and family. She also enjoyed hanging out at Disneyland when she could. She was always surrounded by family whether it was her nieces, nephews, grandchildren, siblings, son, daughter or her friends. She had the biggest heart for everyone and loved every one of her family members.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents Viola and Cecil Bame, her brother Howard Bame, granddaughter Claire Taylor, grandson Breydon Fritz, her husband Carl Olsen, her sister Karen Shane, her daughter Danyell Marie Fritz, and brother Merrill Nielson. Along with various cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Carol is survived by her siblings Mae, Linda, Lorraine, Glenda, Pauline, Cecile, Marie, Betty, and Merlin. She is also survived by her son Richard Taylor, his wife Liz, and their three children
Garrett, Grace, and Jack and is survived by her granddaughter Kyleigh Olsen along with the many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside services will be at Santaquin City Cemetery, 100 E 300 S on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 10:30 am. Please park along the fence, bring your own chair, and please wear a mask and practice social distancing when possible. A family luncheon will be held afterwards at Chris and Corene Jensen’s home at 2562 N 520 E Provo, Ut.
