Sadly, Carol Gold passed away suddenly on January 22, 2018 at the age of 90. She was born May 26, 1927 in Rochester, New York and attended Kalamazoo College. She married Dencil Gold in 1970.
She had 3 children; Linda Maccano, Alvin Kenyon and David Kenyon (who preceded her in death). She also had 6 step-children; Bobby Gold, Alan Gold, Terri Bumgarner, Cassie Jensen, Scott Gold and Jody Nix. There are 21 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. She will be missed by all.
Carol had a beautiful singing voice and sang for multiple church choirs and weddings. She loved arts and crafts and perfected sewing, quilting, weaving, painting, calligraphy, wood burning and crocheting. One of her proudest achievements was driving the AlCan Highway by herself.
Her life was full of love for her family and her Lord.
Private graveside services will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 followed by a celebration of her life with neighbors and friends at the Genola LDS Church on Main Street and Center Street.
We would like to acknowledge the Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson for the kindness, care and special services they provided during Carol’s short stay there.
