Cara came into our lives smiling and ready to explore the world. She shared her smile and brought joy to all she met. She now leaves us smiling and ready to explore the eternities.
Cara Sue is the daughter of the late Donald Ray Goudy Jr. and Sharon Ann Dye Goudy of Santaquin, Utah.
She attended school in Santaquin, Payson, and American Fork and graduated in 2009 from Payson High School. She also graduated with a four year certificate from LDS Seminary.
From a very young age, Cara loved to sing, dance, go fishing, and draw or color pictures. She was very active and loved to explore new places. Her active years were filled with hiking, four-wheeling, boating, tubing, water fighting, texting on her phone, boys and going to movies.
Cara is survived by her mother; brother David Goudy; and grandfather Keith Eugene Dye; as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Cara was preceded in death by her father; her younger brother Brent Goudy; and grandparents Donald and Clara Goudy and Lucile Dye.
Funeral services will be held Monday, January 12th at 11:00 am at the Santaquin North Stake Center, 545 N 200 E. A viewing will be held for family and friends at Brown Family Mortuary, 66 S 300 E, on Sunday from 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Monday from 9:45 to 10:45 am at the church prior to services.

The family would like to express a heartfelt appreciation to the wonderful caregivers at Stonehenge Care Facility in American Fork, Utah who showed so much love to Cara in her last few years, and filled her days with joy and friendship.
