Brooklyn Cherepovich

May 13, 2015 — September 6, 2019

Brooklyn McKenzie Cherepovich, age 4, beloved daughter, sister and granddaughter returned to her heavenly home on September 6, 2019. She was born in Provo, Utah to parents Glenn Mitchell Cherepovich and LaDawna Sue (Lewis) Cherepovich on May 13, 2015. She was born eight weeks premature. She started out life tiny and frail, but she soon grew and developed into a tall, beautiful, healthy and strong girl.

She was the light of her family’s life. Her sisters doted on her, and she had her parents and grandparents wrapped around her little finger. Brookie loved to play with family and friends, swim, do arts and crafts, play with puzzles, go to story and music time at the library and guppy group at the museum of art, sing and dance. In fact, she broke her leg when she fell while dancing at an outdoor concert. She wanted her cast to be her favorite color – orange. Whenever her sisters would practice violin, she would get her little toy “biolin” (violin) and play along with them. She would also do special performances for the family where she would sing and play her favorite song, Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star on her violin.

She loved to help her parents and sisters cook and work in the garden. She was excited to pick “bomatoes” (tomatoes) from her garden every day, and to check the peaches on the peach tree. She would always ask to eat “bomatoes” for breakfast (and throughout the day). She enjoyed going to primary and always wanted to sing and dance along with her friends in her class during singing time. When it was time for bed, she always had her special giraffe blanket and “snuggle” (that her mom and sisters made for her), and her Pandy. She would suck her thumb as she snuggled with her family while reading books and singing songs.

Words cannot express the deep sorrow felt at the loss of this beautiful, sweet girl, or the joy her family will feel when they are reunited in the Kingdom of God. Brookie, we know you were called back home to your Heavenly Father- even so, you will forever be missed. May God be with our sweet angel “until we meet again at Jesus’ feet.” We love you Brookie.
