Brent Dallas Swenson "Big Guy", loving husband, father and grandpa passed away October 12, 2010.
He was born July 23, 1963 in Brigham City, Utah. He lived in Spanish Fork and Benjamin where he was raised for most of his childhood. He spent the last 15 years of his life living in Santaquin in the home that he built for his family.
Brent married his high school sweetheart and the love of his life, Connie Mortensen, December 2, 1980. He was the father of two sons and grandpa to four grandsons who were his pride and joy.
Brent was an outdoorsman. He loved nature, hunting and fishing. He loved to make people smile. He was a teaser and a jokester all the way. We'll miss you "Big Guy".
He is survived by his wife, Connie, sons, Casey Brent Swenson and Cody Duke (Summer Olson) Swenson, grandsons, Jaxon, Luke, Andrew and Hayze Swenson; his father, Dallas (Patricia) Swenson; and two sisters, Cindy Swenson Vance, of Oregon, and Marianne Swenson Jacobsen, of Stansbury Park. Brent was preceded in death by his mother, Myrna (Christensen) Swenson, grandparents, Jones & Melba Christensen, George & Hannah Swenson and Clifton Taylor.
Funeral services will be Friday, October 15th at 12:00 noon at the Old Santaquin Stake Center, 90 South 200 East, where friends may call from 10:45 to 11:45 am prior to the service. Burial, Santaquin Cemetery under the direction of Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, Santaquin.
