Brendon Young

Brendon Clyde Young returned to his Heavenly Father on December 31, 2006 after a tragic tubing accident surrounded by many family and friends. He was born to Cody and Kelly McCourt Young on April 20, 1997 in Price, Utah. Brendon brought love and laughter to everyone he was around. His bubbly personality drew people to him. He enjoyed all sports but especially loved baseball. He loved to draw and camp and was a Cub Scout. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his parents, Cody Young and Kelly Weight, step-dad, Dennis Weight, grandparents, Steve and Karen Young, Lowell and Lynna Gray, Clyde & Doreen McCourt, uncles, Berry (Dezarae) Young, Ryan (Jackie) McCourt, Justin (Angie) McCourt, and cousins, Jayce Young, Afton, Jade and Mia McCourt, great grandparents, Joe and LaDona Rukavina, Ned and Reon McCourt, Leslie and Lennis Helquist, step-brothers, Austin and Dallin Weight. Funeral services will be Friday, January 5th at 11:00 a.m. in the Goshen LDS Ward. Friends may call at Holladay-Brown Funeral Home, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin, Thursday 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial, Payson City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made at any Zions Bank to Cody and Brendon Young or to the Brendon Young Memorial Fund at Utah Central Credit Union.
