Barbara Ann Pehrson Jackson

Barbara Ann Pehrson our mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter in Pleasant Grove on June 8, 2024.

Barbara was born September 17, 1933 to Raymond and Cerola Pehrson of Vernon, Utah. She grew up on a farm and cattle ranch in Vernon, Utah. She thoroughly enjoyed working alongside her father, farming, caring for animals and accompanying her dad while he fixed down power poles in Vernon and Tooele. She loved gardening, rock hounding and crocheting. She won many blue ribbons for her roses. Each of us, her children and grandchildren, loved her and appreciated all she did for us, and how much she meant to us. We cherish the heritage she left to us.

Mom was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her sister Helen whom she dearly loved; her children: Cherie (Mike) Clements, Shelley (Kim) Shumway, Kyle (Jolene) Jackson, Camille Bosch, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother, father and her brother Bob, whom she loved dearly.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 14, 2024 at 12:00 noon at the Vernon, Utah LDS Church, 280 Main Street. There will be a viewing prior to the services from 10:30 - 11:45 am at the church. Burial will follow in the Vernon cemetery.
