Audrey Sanderson

Audrey Marie Naef Sanderson, 92, died June 24, 2016 in Orem, Utah. She was born March 5, 1924 in Scofield, Utah to Hettie Matilda Mills and Jacob C. Naef. At the age of 2 she moved with her family to Eureka, Utah and lived there the rest of her life. She was proud to be the oldest resident of Eureka. She will be greatly missed by all.

She married Leland "Pug" Sanderson March 17, 1943 in Payson, Utah and they were sealed in the Manti LDS Temple May 17, 1958.  He died July 27, 2008.  Audrey was an active member of the LDS Church always serving others diligently in positions in the Primary and Relief Society.  Her most beloved calling was as ward chorister.  Her greatest joy in life was rearing her five children and being a wonderful homemaker.

She is survived by her children, Jerry Leland (Katie) Sanderson, Michael J. (Deborah) Sanderson, Brent S. (Annette) Sanderson, Cindy Ilene (Steven) Child; 26 grandchildren, 71 great grandchildren with the first great great grandchild on the way.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 7 brothers and sisters; a daughter, Susan Marie Sanderson Christensen (Fred), grandson Scott Sanderson and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 28th at 11:00 am at the Eureka LDS Church.  Friends and family will gather Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Brown Family Mortuary, 66 South 300 East, Santaquin and Tuesday at the church from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to the service.  Interment, Eureka City Cemetery.
