Our beloved angel, Amy Reed Jackson, graduated from this life in the early hours of July 3, 2010 surrounded by her loving family and friends, following a valiant battle with cancer.

Amy's earthly experience began on February 25, 1974 as a beautiful gift to Karen Clark Morris (William) and Merrill Allen Reed (Marilee). Growing up in Payson, she attended Payson Junior and Senior schools where she met her sweetheart Gary. At the age of 15 she wrote in her journal that one day she would marry Gary, which she did on June 25, 1993. Their family was eternally bound together on July 1, 1995.

From the beginning, Amy's life has been centered on family, service and love. She held many positions over the years including Young Women's President, many Primary callings, Cub Scouts, Santaquin Parade Chairman (10 years), PTA President, and many many more. One of her most special gifts was her ability to love and inspire the youth. She has also been honored as Santaquin Citizen of the Year, Honorary Miss Santaquin, and most recently as Santaquin City Parade Grand Marshall.

A celebrity of sorts, everyone knows and loves Amy. Her dedication and willingness to help others has made her a friend to so many and earned her so much love in return. She had an amazing ability to inspire others into service right along with her. She was so dedicated to the youth and they love her in return. She never hesitated to go to any length to teach them how important they are to their loving Heavenly Father. Amy made everyone feel like they were her best friend and was an amazing wife, mom and daughter in all aspects of life. She lived life to the fullest every moment she had.

Still here to remember her are: her loving husband, Gary; her beautiful children, Scott (Jessica), Taylor, Garrett, Tanner, Lindsey and Bryce; her parents, Karen (William) Morris and Allen (Marilee) Reed; her siblings, Shane (Melynda) Reed, April Bray, Myrlann Waters, Jessica (Nick) Christensen, Emily Reed Alger and Ali Reed; and her grandparents, Leone Clark and Bill (Grace) Morris. Welcoming her to her Heavenly home are: her son, Nathan; her grandparents, Merlin "Square" Clark, Merrill and Georgia Reed; and many others.

A special thank you to Merilee Hiatt and Love Hospice for providing such loving care for Amy, to the "Glove Club" for following Amy's unwavering example of service, and to the many friends and family who shared their love.

A Celebration of Her Life will be held at the Santaquin LDS Stake Center, 45 South 500 West on Tuesday July 6th from 6 to 8 pm and Wednesday July 7th from 9 to 10:45 am with services to follow at 11:00 am.
