Adren Ray Underwood passed away July 14, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
Adren was born July 26, 1941 to Ken and Virginia Underwood in Mammoth, Utah. They moved to Eureka, Utah where he graduated from Tintic High School. He married the love of his life Vickie Diane Diamond on July, 29 1961. They welcomed three beautiful children Coralee, Brain and Rhonda.
Adren worked in the Tintic Mining District his whole life. He was a volunteer firefighter for Juab County and was a member of the Utah State Fire Association for over 50 years. He was a volunteer on Juab Search and Rescue for many years. He was a prominent member of Eureka who did lots of charitable work for the community. In his later years his pride was welcoming all his grandkids and great-grandkids. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family. He supported his kids and grandkids in all their activities and was their biggest fan. He loved to visit coffee shops from Goshen to Vernon and he never minced words and you always knew where you stood with him.
He is survived by his wife Vickie of Eureka, children Coralee (Wayne) Smith of Nephi, Brian (Becky) of Eureka, Rhonda (Mike) Draper of Eureka, 9 grandchildren 18 great-grandchildren and sister Fawn Fife of Payson. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers (Vance, John and Jim), 3 sisters (Carol Ainge, Tamara Henderson and an infant sister Peggy) .
As per his request there will be no formal service but a family celebration of life will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Valeo Home Health and Hospice for all their loving care as well as the staff at Stonehenge in Springville as well as a special thank you to his nurse Kiley.
